Jakob Ehlich

Jakob Ehlich is a Research Data Manager at the department of “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” at the ZEW. He is responsible for creating and maintaining an extensive database of German firm-level data – the “Mannheim Enterprise Panel” (MUP). Furthermore, he conducts Data Analysis and Visualization in the areas of industrial dynamics and patent statistics, contributing to various research projects. His focus lies in applying database systems and analytical tools for economic research.

He holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Heidelberg and a Bachelors degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Goethe University Frankfurt. In addition, he has gained practical experience in leveraging Data Science methods for Market Research.
