Anika Bender

Anika Bender has been Project Manager of the Industrial Policy Lab since July 2025 and is a member of the research group “Industrial Policy and International Production Networks” at the Kiel Institute. She holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, with a focus on resource policy and distributional conflicts. Prior to joining the Kiel Institute, she was a Policy Officer for Raw Materials and Resource Policy at Forum on Environment & Development and served as a civil society representative in the German Multi-Stakeholder Group of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).
